How Krispy Kreme Company Started?
18 Year Old Vernon Rudolph, along with his brother Lewis Rudolph, began working for his uncle Ishmael Armstrong, who had a small shop in Paducah, Kentucky, which sold a variety of goods and doughnuts.
Due to the Great Depression in 1934, Vernon and his uncle moved the shop to Nashville, Tennessee. It was expected that they would be able to survive the economic downturn in this big city. He devoted his entire focus to selling the doughnuts. And started a company named Krispy Kreme Doughnut Company.
People liked his donuts very much. So in 1937 Vernon opened his store. Rudolph primarily sold donuts to convenience stores. However, later between midnight and 4AM, hot doughnuts were also sold to the customers.

Krispy Kreme has more than 1,400 shops operating across the world. Which company’s Headquarters is in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. It opened its first international store in Sydney, Australia.
